The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation sent a thank you email to GoldFellow® which is shown below in its entirety.

GoldFellow® is a national precious metals buyer and refiner with its corporate headquarters in Weston, Florida.  Among companies which buy gold from consumers, GoldFellow® stands out for its transparent business practices and commitment to customer service and education, resulting in an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.  The company actively purchases gold, silver, platinum and diamonds from consumers in all fifty states, however, south Florida is its hometown and employees of the company came up with a creative way to give back to their community.  The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation was only one of the beneficiaries of this effort.

GoldFellow® employees took it upon themselves to organize a Miami Dolphins ticket giveaway as a way of helping women in their community who have faced breast cancer – and their family members – have a respite from their daily challenges.  The employees enlisted the assistance of a local ticket broker and obtained two hundred tickets to the Miami Dolphin’s pre-season opening game which they distributed to local non-profits.  They had souvenir tee shirts printed for all the participants and company employees and gold party buyers acted as hosts at the game.

In all, GoldFellow® donated two hundred tickets to several charitable organizations in their community including Kids in Distress and Children’s Harbor.  Twenty-four tickets went to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation for its clients and families dealing with breast cancer were treated to a fun outing at the first pre-season Miami Dolphins game of the 2010 season.

The email below, sent to Cynthia Nigro, GoldFellow®’s director of National Events, expressed the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation’s appreciation for the donation.

Director, National Events

Dear Cynthia,

On behalf of the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) and all those who have, or will be affected by breast cancer, please accept our sincerest thanks for your generous ticket donation valued at $2,400.00 ($100.00 per ticket) for the August 14, 2010 Miami Dolphins pre-season game.  Your support is truly appreciated.

As a grassroots organization, our strength and ability to eradicate breast cancer depends upon people all across Florida raising their voices to demand adequate funding for breast cancer research, quality health care for all without fear of discrimination and an environment free of carcinogens.

Thank you for caring and for your support. With your help, we will be able to continue our efforts until breast cancer is eradicated.

Sincerely yours,

Muriel
